Player Development System
To track each player's progress and continually focus on each athlete's unique development needs, members are evaluated quarterly in various categories to track their development as a complete athlete and leader. Progress is tracked on their Player Development Chart (see example).
The Player Development Chart was designed after consultation with HS and Collegiate programs throughout the country, capturing the key developmental and leadership areas best suited to prepare youth athletes for contributing roles in their future teams and careers. This tool is a great conversation piece for your family, as well as a guide for Shine Trainers to continually challenge each athlete towards their individual best! Shine also uses these Charts to promote athletes to various collegiate program as part of our Recruitment Support system.
