ELITE TEAMS
|
Competitive team play is an important part of any athlete's journey towards higher level opportunities. The process of learning to be accountable, communicate, work through struggles, confront fears and insecurities, and develop the confidence which comes from this process is vital to becoming a leader on and off the court. Shine's Elite team program is focused on developing your athlete into a high-character, tough, driven competitor who is not only an excellent teammate but also a consistent individual contributor.
UPCOMING TRYOUT DATES
Official tryouts are now closed. Please contact Coach Rob directly via text/call at 303-591-4022 to inquire about roster openings. These teams will play local and/or national competition schedules against top national players and be publicized to coaches, scouts, and recruiters for next level opportunities. LOCAL TEAMS
Shine lower division teams compete in local and regional events through various providers, including Power to Play, iHoops, Hoop Nation, and others.
NATIONAL TRAVEL TEAMS
Shine's National Select Teams compete in a rigorous national travel schedule from April - July each Summer. Shine has established relationships with the country’s more prestigious events, including but not limited to: Nike Tournament of Champions, Big Foot Sports Series, Adidas Invitationals, Frisco Super 64, Nike End of Trail Events, the Check Me Out Showcase, Los Angeles Elite Invitational, Miss Basketball, MSNM Basketball, USJN/Blue Star Media, Vegas Elite Tournaments and more.
RECRUITMENT SUPPORT
Our Academy has established communication channels with over 1200 college programs throughout the US via our partnership with Field Level, and we have formed strong relationships with the coaching staff at various regional and national programs like: CU, CSU, MSU, DU, Colorado School of Mines, Colorado Christian University, UCCS, and others.
